Sepulchral Exile

I wander in solitude, ancient lullabies I sing
I witness the forest as she burns her winter marks
I’m a watcher to the sunrise, the smoldering sun tearing the cold
The wind moans… and the spirit sighs
I sat by the river and poured my eye

Shrouded in sorrow, cloaked in pain
I thought ill endure it… I thought it will fade away
A mere destiny, a dance of fate I played
I laughed, I weeped… I begged them to take me away

Mystical winds leave behind a trail
Enduring mortal chaos and chill
Morbid faces, they whispered my name
Voices echoed and they shrilled

I endured the overcast. I raced through the gates
Emptiness cajoled the thin air and gloom I embraced
They left me at the arrival of autumn
In the forest of pulsating damp air

And grief, it possessed me…grief, it decayed
Amidst the forest, you can hear me
My grotesque glory fade.
